Riverfront Park
The ideal vantage point for admiring the vistas of the Hudson, enjoying seasonal concerts and events, Athens’ Riverfront Park has something for everyone.

Hudson-Athens Lighthouse
No visit to Athens would be complete without seeing the historical landmark, the northernmost of the seven remaining lighthouses on the Hudson River. Ferry rides to the lighthouse for tours are held seasonally, and private tours can be arranged. 

Culture & Festivals
The Town of Athens pulls out all the stops for its annual Street Festival and Community Day. It offers cultural and educational activities year round at the Athens Cultural Center and D. R. Evarts Public Library.

Green Lake
Features car top and beach boat launches with DEC stocked fishing. Ice fishing is allowed.
